And this track is why LTJ Bukem and Goodlooking Records deserve so much of the credit for not just liquid but DnB Jungle in general. I remember hearing Bukem drop this very early 92 in his sets. The crowds at any rave would stop blowing their whistles and horns, not because no one liked it, no it just blew the crowd away, you listened to it, felt it, rode the groove. Drum and bass/jungle' liquid had not even been born at this stage. The music was called Hardcore. This track inspired so many to go and make tracks like this and create the stuff I'm still loving today. It has stood the test of time and was not a youth fad of it's day. People often took the piss out of ravers for the music and thought it was all just about getting off your face on E. Well I actually got into this as it was fresh and not mainstream or commercial, I just loved some of this fresh experimental music that came from outer space. Hell I did end up popping a pill or two but not excessively and was not needed to enhance my enjoyment of the beats I already loved anyway . I was there as I loved the music, end of. I will however admit a lot of the music was also bloody awful and I was not a fan of in the 1st place but you knew and followed the DJ's who played the tracks and styles you liked. Happy Hardcore being an example. The people behind that were less into the music and more there for just getting wasted. Grown men making childish sounding noise with pinky and perky voice samples, that didn't last very long did it...
