Then all of you who argue for change are being hypocritical. You all vote for governments who talk about being green but support business and whole industries that continue to pollute on a global basis. You all want the lowest prices that you can achieve. You all enjoy holidays that use aeroplanes. Then you assuage your angst by moaning on here. If it so bloody obvious then why are you not out there making it happen?
No one has argued for change on this thread. Some have merely said that they disagree with the conspiracy theories that contradict the general consensus on global warming and a couple have said that society would be stupid to ignore the potential consequences. No-ones moaned about it or been hypocrititcal in any way.
Very well put and this is called as you are probably aware, "willful ignorance". It's the same as people who post on their ipads that they are disgusted with Chineses slave labour. Sometimes having principles is a pain in the ass but it is what it is, I miss out on new stuff and fancy wasteful things because of principle. Humanity needs a severe paradigm shift post haste. I don't own a new phone every year, I don't drive a car, rarely fly, don't buy a new tv every year, don't leave the tap running , I recycle and don't leave **** powered up when it does not need to be. herself drives but really only when she needs to with the kids. They want to blame us beccause when we think it is our fault we are happily throwing ourself into the arms of the technocrats who will save us all. Anyone ever see the Hong Kong sky? That is not C02, that is pollution. Much of it biological material. Flora and fauna being poisoned on an epic scale for decades. No Co2 is evil. People think "hey well even if it is not true it's good we're doing something". Well, that's the same as thinking it's ok to clean up toast crumbs but leave the feces where they are, literally. CO2 harmless, the thousands of pollutants we are poisoned with are ignored, literally. One would almost think they want us to focus on Co2 and ignore the million other things wrecking the environment and biosphere. Again Fukushima!! Radiation.. going into the ocean for years consistently, no bod, but CO2, ring the ****ing alarm bells For the greenies, yes we should be green, bit get it that this is a different argument. If your house is on fire and you decide to clean under your fridge, that's hardly going to help, and that's pretty much what focusing on CO2 is doing. Right now this week, there are ice boulders washing up on the shores on lakes in the US. Cold records continue to be broken and the ice is increaasing in the pole since 2012. Another interesting thing, Co2 at the top level of our atmosphere.. it defelcts heat!! IPCC aren't blasting that little nugget around. Also re Cern and clouds. Our magentic shield and the sun's shield, have weakened, ours by 10% and the Sun's is almost gone entirely. The extra input the earth is getting is creating clouds, hydrogen is combining with oxygen in our electrically charged ionosphere creating hydorxyls which is increasing our cloud cover and atmospheric water content with much more noctilucent cloud cover (Highest clouds) that block much sunlight which along with CO2 defelcts heat. This extra water also absorbs much microwave input from space and the re-emits it into our atmosphere, none of this is part of IPCC modeling! I've already had a flirt with minus 20+ here and it's no joke My nips nearly shattered Yes lets stop polluting, but lets stop believing in this man made climate change bollocks, we will not solve pollution by ignoring pollution and focusing what must now be over a trillion on an imaginary foe in CO2. Cutting CO2 by half or more will have an adverse effect on plantlife on this planet, and will almost certainly affect crop yields.
I guess the IPCC has plenty of time to explain how CO2 on earth is causing massive climate chance on Jupiter.. if it is not related to solar cycles, which it is. Jupiter's climate change makes earth's look like an unusuallly windy day. Mars and Venus are also experiencing climate change on large scales. Earth's has thus far been minor but it's picking up pace. please log in to view this image
I won't "Spam" and let this thread disappear from the first page. Just want to point out that burning fossil fuels is 87% of our CO2 input into the system. But.. given 87% of our air pollution comes from burning fossil fuels, why is there not an issue with the following, an issue as big as CO2 that is given the following actually kills about 8 or 9 million people every year it is estimated. Why is there not a massive hullabaloo about.. sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), ground-level ozone, particulate matter (PM), carbon monoxide (CO), volatile organic compounds (VOC) including benzene, some heavy metals and lead and a number of other pollutants. Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) Unburned hydrocarbons. That's just fossil fuels, never mind the other pollutors. Air traffic causes massive pollution, never mind their constant fuel dumping. Fuel is not even taxed. These are some of what make up that **** you see over China's cities and imagine how bad the rain is as it washes out a lot of that pollution and dumps it into the ground water and rivers and soil. All Co2 does is feed ****ing plants. Does anyone really believe that the IPCC would last long by going after the energy giants? You'll notice IPCC natural sources on CO2 has animals and plants, but omitted are insects and bateria which produce probably well over 40 50 times what man produces in the worst case scenario. Nature produces over 95% of all CO2, it is that 5% that the IPCC is banging on about and only CO2 like, not the poisons that actuall destroy air soil and water and kills people. Volcanoes 42% of the natural supply, that alone makes our production seem like a puff of charcoal. Carbon dioxide is a very weak greenhouse gas, computer models predicting environmental catastrophe depend on the small amount of warming from carbon dioxide being amplified by increased evaporation of water. But in the many documented periods of higher carbon dioxide, even during much warmer climate periods, that never happened. During the time of the dinosaurs, the carbon dioxide levels were 300–500% greater than today (where does one think all that chalk in the ground came from?). Five hundred million years ago, the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was 15–20 times what it is today. Yet the catastrophic water-vapor amplification of carbon dioxide warming never occurred. Here's a quote oh and Oil production is way up and oil is cheap as chips, and this is just OK? get your fossil fuel cheap as ****, but joe shclubb can go pay 5 quid for an energy saving lightbulb and the "state" can cough up his tax £££ for carbon tax payments #scam
Sooner we use it all the sooner America gets out of Arab countries and the sooner we clean up the place Humans simply won't bloody stop until there none left
