1)You're naiive if you think academic research is not subject to manipulation by big business,governments ,etc.You want to believe every statistic thrown at you then your head will forever be in a whirl. 2)Of course the birdies had only flown away temporarily-it was that or be eaten(durr)or are you the sort of sentimentalist who thinks the fluffy kittens only want to play with them. 3)Equating anyone who disagrees with your point of view as a Sun-reading fascist is pretty pathetic. 4)How does valuing and appreciating our native wildlife above a predatory,introduced species make me a bad or stupid person?
