I want to pitch my idea to the dragons in the den. It's called remote plank (C) (tm) . In this modern world of gadgets I often hear stressed out pepole shouting out "has anyone seen the f-ing remote for the TV, Sky box, Blu ray etc. I bet most of you have more than three remote controls in your living room these days. I know you can buy those universal remote controls but I don't rate them, a lot of these are not easy to program and often do not cover all the options of the device you are pointing it at. Universal remotes are also another remote control to loose down the back of your sofa/ forget where you put it. Remote plank is just that, a plank of wood with velcro, all you do is stick all your remotes to it and place the plank on your lap. Problem solved, you will find it hard to loose a plank of wood down the side of the sofa etc. I would also pitch remote plank pro dosser edition, this would have a beer can holder and ash tray. My other two inventions are desposable Kebab bib and nut board. I can't reveal what nut board is about as it's too blue for on here.
Lol, Hey Uber, I have no problem with being a sanctimonious arsehole but take issue with the pompous label.
I'm in love with my Canon EOS 50D and my 50mm Canon prime lens. Here's a project I shot with it over the weekend called "London People": https://www.flickr.com/photos/124307231@N04/sets/72157646162154061/
Thats some busy snapping!Looks good though - did you get many strange looks taking photos of complete strangers?

Apologies to all the OT Haters for bumping the thread. I've just had a Hive thermostat installed at home and am already sensing that it will a quick payback. I can now open the App at my desk at work and see that Mrs Uber has the heating on full in the middle of the day...and turn it down. It also sends a message to my phone if I've left the house asking if I want to turn the heating off, and again as I'm approaching home to turn it back on again. https://www.hivehome.com/?gclid=CMK7oN-yz8MCFYsEwwod5R8A2w&gclsrc=aw.ds For all you fitness junkies out there, I've also just updated my Fitbit Flex to a Fitbit Surge 'superwatch' that measures steps, floors, distance, calorie burn, active minutes and heart rate. It also Bluetooths to your phone so you can control your music easily whilst you run, walk, **** or whatever you do for exercise. http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2015/01/fitbit-surge-depth-review.html
I have the Fitbit Charge and love the thing i will upgrade to a Surge as soon as John Lrwis has them in stock. I also hanker for a GruebelForsey watch. This would however require a lottery win to even begin justifying.
You can order them direct from Fitbit.com if preferred. I've never heard of GruebelForsey before. Nice watches, but see what you mean!
