A woman pilot who flew this type of aircraft bought the 1988 Panavia Tornado F3 for £36,800. wow

could of made some money off this just doing trips to the Stadium of Light a few times

buisness opportunity gone I fear <whistle>

Be worthwhile having a harrier on ther front lawn with the missiles pointing at next door. Guaranteed neighbor free hassle!!

When the vulcans were sold off, the RAF charged 5 grand each, provided you had somewhere for them to land

Perfect solution for you then Mr T. Go to any of the UK safari parks, sniff some glue, and force your way into the Lion enclosure and tug on a couple of tails.

Your 3 wishes would be sorted within 30 seconds.

The red arrows were based next door to the farm i managed and they practised all day above us with thier different coloured smoke one had a problem and crashed in the village just along the road and took the chimney clean off the house of one of the lads who worked for me.

The reds have always been the best in the world, but the Italian trecce fricalore or what ever they are called are damned good too.

But for sheer awesome power, the Mig 29 takes some beating

I think there's a fair few (myself included) who would argue the Blue Angels are better. Simply because the Hornet outperforms the Hawk in every area and so they can do so many more incredible manoeuvres. Just an opinion though :)

for 2 years, RIAT moved from RAF Fairford to RAF Cottesmoor whilst fairford underwent runway rebuilding. I was working there all week, but on the Sunday the Rockwell B1 Lancer was due to display. A load of aviation cheapskates decided to take a farmers offer, and watch the display from his field, rather than pay the full ticket price. bear in mind that the B1 is a supersonic strategic bomber, with four MASSIVE jet engines, it is not a wise move to stand behind it

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVdUi-8F8P0

You can see the crowd scatter as the pilot gives it full take off throttle, and after the airshow several spectators tried to sue RIAT for injury. Some were blown off their feet, and travelled yards, other got minor burns RIAT's reply was basically two words, the second one being "OFF" Bear in mind , the crowd were supposed to be aviation "experts" yet they stood behind a military jet waiting to take off. Sorry guys, you got exactly what you deserved

sorry Darth, patriotic thinking over rules Yank muscle. Seen vids of the Angels, but still think the reds are No1. I did see the Thunderbirds at Mildenhall many years ago in F16's, but wasn't impressed. Would love to see the Russian Knights in Su27's, but they tend to defy all the safety regulations in Europe, so its unlikely they will ever appear in the UK

Fair enough I guess, I've always had a thing for the Angels so I suppose that tips the balance in their favour for me.

The Russians are completely insane, there's no way they'd ever be allowed to perform in the UK
