I live in South Tyneside, closer to the jawdees than you, mind you, I never see them unless they are doing well or after a game against us!
Booldy Hell MR, we must have been falling over each other many a Friday night. My local was the Chesters, from there to the Royalty then the pub bottom of Chester Rd (turn left 50 yards cant remember the name), then the Black Bull, Old 29, Londonderry, Brewery Tap and finish in the Dun Cow. Not eactly the best pubs for pulling, quality-wise, but definitely easier!!
This has now been named The Stumble Inn, I sometimes get in there on a Saturday nights and I have saw a couple of good bands in recent months.
If the Wear didn't sunder our land we wouldn't be having this discussion but then we all be from Land City . You'd feel a right plank having to tell people that.
