There isn't much architecturally to look at in Jersey (besides Mont Orgueil Castle). This is my favourite building that i've seen in real life.

Im going on a cheap holiday to Guernsey at Easter using up the air miles - is it nice? Or have you been stuck to the one channel isle all your life?

I've been to Guernsey a couple of times and it's pretty nice. Not as much to do as Jersey but still enough people to make it lively, and if you want to go somewhere away from civilisation they do twice (or possibly more) daily trips to other islands (Herm's my favourite of these). DonkeyToon will probably know a bit more than me seeing as he lives there.

If i were you then i'd make better use of my airmiles and come to Jersey ;)

Those babies are great, there's a few of them on one of the islands in the city centre.

Yep, certainly have. There's some more Gehry buildings a few pages back posted by Mifune, I absolutely love most of his work; the dancing house isn't his greatest but still nice to have one of his nearby.

I'll just post some pictures of Dumbo in Brooklyn because I could sit all day staring at those old factories with the Manhattan bridge in such close height proximity.

That's a really nice little church, especially the mini steeple. Any ideas on how old it is?

I really like the Reichstag in Berlin, they've added a modern dome onto the original structure like so..

Yay the Coulsdon Bypass! I drove home that way tonight even :) Sometimes it's quicker to just go through the town ha! Normally I go to work via M25 Junct 6 because the Brighton Road is so bad and that Bypass is always a bottleneck. :(

That picture flatters to deceive sooooo much! It is a total **** tip in real life, i cant stand the building personally.
