Never had topup tv. Is it really worth getting ESPN? they'll probably only have 2-3 Newcastle games on all season.

We had Virgin with an XL pack but it was **** and Sky offered better channels (sky sports) and Sky were cheaper. We have more channels with Sky aswell. It's much better <ok>

Also want it for the Italian League and UFC. I would just stream games online but they are forever cutting out and lagging for me.

I used to have TopupTV but it was a rip off when you compared prices with other companies, it was costing £40 for skysports 1,2,ESPN and freeview channels. i got it turned off last year and got Virgin Media put on and so far there has been no problems with it at all.

Also make sure your area has a good connection for Virgin Media as i had it a while back and i always had problems with the TV connection cutting off. They did take money off the bill for any problems that it caused.

I've got the full package on virgin at home with a 500gb Tivo box which was strange at first took a while to get used to but once you know what your doing, it is a cracking box to have. You can set it to record programs over the Internet, you can access YouTube twitter etc from it also. It is the best set top box on the Market at the minute hands down. Virgin broad band is also far superior to sky.

Well in my experience. Sky TV riops Virgin a new hymen (see what i did there) but Virgin Broadband really ****s on Sky Broadband.

Moved house a couple of years back and the move from fiber optic 10mb to my current terrible sky that barely reaches 2mb still hurts. Playing xbox on those two different connection speed is like night and day

I had Virgin 50meg internet for the last 2 years, and while the speed was great, once or twice a month the internet just would not work for 4-8 hours. Their customer service was useless too. Back on sky internet now, and while it is unbearably slow in comparison, at least it works all the time.
As for the TV, I think Sky ****s all over Virgin, and as someone already mentioned, most of their on demand stuff is just from iPlayer and 4oD etc.

Used to have a deep, burning hatred of Virgin after having them as my ISP for a couple of years a good few years ago, however I now have the 50mb broadband from Virgin in my student house and it's not quite as infuriating as it once was, although the modem does need resetting more often than with other providers I've had. Currently getting 40mb down / 4.44mb up.

Plenty of bars in Moscow showing premier league, look on novy arabat or some of the Irish bars that have cropped up, used to love going to rosie's and shamrock bar, there was a good sports bar on the arabat not sure if its still there ain't looked, or maybe metalitsa on there as well

You can now throw F1 into the equation, Sky have a share in the tv rights it will be pay per view.

I've got ESPN via BT Vision as it was given to me for free.

The wife would murder me if I bought Sky Sports 1 & 2...
