I was going to say- he managed Man Utd- he can never be given enough suffering... but then I remembered how joy he has brought to the people of the world by ruining United- so I have to agree... he has sufferred enough. Moyes should be given a full pardon and diplomatic immunity.

Chinese gangs very tame in Liverpool compared to other places, Tobes; just gambling and prostitution among their own normally. Where was it PMK? I remember someone stuck a shotgun through the loft window of the Bow some years back, and the Yew Tree got closed down over gangster connections a decade ago, I think. Think I remember one of the Hughes twins getting his hand nailed to bar some decades ago in the Yewie. Nice. Couple of years ago when I was over for Christmas in West Derby, where my sister lives, I was running everyone home @ midnight as I don't drink any more. The village was blocked off by about 20 squad cars and vans. Turns out that someone was kneecapped in the bar in Barry's, then staggered all the way to casualty at Broad Green (two miles away?) and it was the hospital that alerted the police. Needless to say, no-one was done for it - a Scouse Christmas carol, maybe? Thing is, when I was a lad, we used to go to West Derby and Woolton to get away from Dovecot/Huyton when we went on a crawl. More civilised here in York - they just push pissed teenagers into the river.
