I've just got back from watching my daughter (and the dog) running the Race for Life at South Park in Darlo. The weather was shocking but seeing 3,500 intrepid women and girls dress in a sea of pink with their messages about their loved ones written on their backs was very inspiring (my daughter was running for both of her Grandma's). Anyway, congratulations to all those taking part and this and other events and if anybody asks you to sponsor them please dig deep.
Well done to all concerned..Our lass done this last year at Herrington Park with a group of friends, one of who had suffered from breast cancer but thankfully recovered. They ended up dressing me up in a pink tutu and wig for the occasion..
