As you and I are cross-chatting on two threads about birds of prey, I can see how much you love them... They are natures beauty queens , birds of prey. The great designer, certainly got them right, to see a red kite glide on a thermal and to see a falcon swoop is a rare and beautiful moment
I do love watching them Beth. I'm not into other non birds of prey much at all, but as you say, watching a falcon or a hawk doing their thing is quite something. Powerful and yet graceful at the same time. Some of them like the Sparrowhawk and it's bigger look-a-like the Goshawk are vicious, awesome predators and yet, especially the Goshawk, they are fantastic flyers too.
