Agreed .............. I know from the BC forum that I run, we had a similar problem with the 'main' content and additional topics. The members wanted to talk about a range of things so we added sub folders. Here for example, if someone only wants QPR detail, they go on the main forum, if they want to read or comment on other OT stuff, they can click on whatever suits their wishes. The mods need to protect the main content of forum ( OT stuff can over run the board )..... from running off in different tangents but no doubt, understand that members may also want OT stuff. I can only surmise that the main page has a folder at the top or bottom of it, which lists all current listed 'Off Topic' thread............ further to this, it could then have sub folders to specific say, 'Automobile thread' and or whatever. For me, I think the board has a good mix of it all, as long as the OT stuff doesn't overtake the main topics and that the OT content and comments don't go to the extreme. I remember when some ****a posted a thread on 'anal fisting' ....................... we don't need to head that way. If I wanted to read / see such crap, I wouldn't bother to come on a football page, I would just 'google' it. Anyway, you people probably already have it all soughted .......just my two bobs worth.
