I'm behind you...
reckon i might have to change my username to Pops4Life in recognition of the fact that good ol' Pipes is going to be a daddy!

Me & Mrs Pipe went for our scan yesterday at 11 weeks and i saw the little bugger giving it loads of wriggle. we we were a week early to do some tests so we have to go back next wednesday but its all happening.

ive kept it under wraps til now really but ive got to say i'm made up!

Congrats!

It's a great feeling when you first see them on a scan.

I recall simply being overawed when I saw miniOT for the first time moving around and couldn't wait until she was born so I could hold her.

Are you going for a 3D scan closer to the due date? We did and it's really worth the money in my opinion.

i hadn't really thought that far ahewad to be honest with you. the Mrs said to me "you were very quit in there?" basically i just sat open mouthed in amazment. the first scan is just like a pip in the womb but this one i could see little arms and legs squirming about. it sort of rocked my world a bit.

seriously who even puts an article star rating on a thread like this one?

cheers for the props fellas. believe it or not ive told you lot before most of my mates. quite sad really. but i suppose its easier to tell faceless strangers.

I did to compensate the 1 star

Congrats. As the proud dad of a three week old (with the bleary eyes to prove it) I can honestly say its the best thing you'll ever do. Yep, I've turned into one of those irritating 'my kids are everything' people already.

well we've been married since last april and been together 5 and a bit years now so we were actively trying. good to know everything is in working order!

Congratulations! Make sure you have a list of names - the neighbours' baby went 3 weeks without a name because they couldn't decide!
