Ha ha! Did you send a barrage of English swear words over of Spanish ones!? Mind that will depend on whether you like your mother in law or not.

Try Michel Thomas's course. No books, writing etc, it's all aural and very intuitive. You start with a few words that build into sentences very quickly. It's very natural and relevant and totally unlike the traditional courses you see

Funnily enough, I have just purchased a French language course today, as I'm getting the learning bug back after having an 18 month break from any meaningful study after I finished my degree..

Well my Rosetta Stone was ancient and horrible so grabbing the latest version, its 23 gig but it does come with 30 languages and differing levels for each language, only going to take about 40 minutes to download though so not too bad.

PS: just looked at the site £379 per complete course, that is just crazy. I probably still wouldnt stick to it even if i did pay that.

I can speak some and understand most Slovak as I lived there for a few years and been married to a Slovak for 21 years... O/T
Finnish language is a complete headf*ck IMHO even Google translate get its knickers in a twist with translating it and as for BING it can be comedy especially when it translates the status of my Finnish friends via Facebook :)
