OT- Oscar Pistorious found not guilty of murder

Alan Blacker was apparently described as a “Walter Mitty” character after he was said to have created a 20-page CV filled with hundreds of claims, several of which reportedly failed to stand up to scrutiny.

Last month Judge David Wynn Morgan said the solicitor was “like something out of Harry Potter” after he appeared at Cardiff Crown Court sporting ribbons and badges he apparently claimed to have earned for St John Ambulance volunteer work.

According to Wales on Sunday, his CV, now deleted from website LinkedIn, described him as “Dr. The Rt. Hon. The Lord Harley of Counsel KGCStJ. DPhil.” According to Wales on Sunday the title of “Harley” does not appear on the roll of peerage at the College of Arms.

The Zoological Society of London was reportedly baffled by Mr Blacker’s claim he was a trustee. Rochdale council was likewise confused by Mr Blacker’s claims to have been secretary of “Rochdale Local Government Committee” at “Rochdale MBC” – understood by Wales on Sunday to mean Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council. A spokesman told Wales on Sunday: “We’ve got no record of him on our system at all” and “no record of that committee”.

According to Wales on Sunday , the CV asserts Mr Blacker was “Branch Secretary Honorary Colonel 24 Batt. (Irish) and 1st Btn” at the Royal Artillery Association in 2000. “We don’t have him on our database,” the institution told Wales on Sunday

To be fair to him, he's more of an idiotic type of knob, as oppose to the genuinely narcissistic bully-boy knob lawyers I typically reserve my ire for!
