Don't mind them during the International Break. I tend to avoid the more serious ones. Is a bit frustrating when they outnumber the football related ones but if it's not when Liverpool are playing can understand. Hopefully come the weekend we'll be back to the usual crap that get's posted on here
I don't understanding the moaning. Board activity is good so what's the problem? If you think there are too many off topic threads you could always create a new on topic thread yourself (vice-versa too). Personally, I don't care
Fair enough, moaning wasn't the right word but you know what I mean. A couple of weeks back there was a big debate about it and ever since I see comments pop up all the time. I also realise that they may well be wum comments but they certainly aren't at the minute, we only had one on topic thread beyond the sticky's at one point on Friday
Personally I come on this site to stay away from poltics which I talk about normally. The site has been too serious recently imo especially with the levels of conspiracy, some of which I dont buy. However im not going to through a wobley - I will just stay away.
Although a culprit, I think derailing is worse than OT. Nobody has to go on certain threads and there is nothing stopping others creating something on topic. However, I do imagine it could be annoying if you're having a good debate and someone starts discussing s or Mr Gonzo's nacksack PS...I also think these comments can be easily ignored if you are having a good debate since we have a 'Reply With Quote' option
So basically, you chose which threads you want to be a part of. That's kind of my point Also, if the on topic subjects gained enough interest, they wouldn't sink. Along with myslef, ask Mr Gonzo and Bluff how many football related threads we have created over the last few months and how much attention they've received. As much as people say they want more football related topics, the interest and demand is clearly not there as they keep flopping

I didn't say I thought it was bad, I said I thought it was worse than off topic threads. #learntoread I think it is easy to ignore, I often do it when it comes to the lengthy "debates" between Tobes and MITO/Dave/Sisu I don't need to make up my mind as what I said was perfectly accurate PS...I think this is quite obvious but, I also don't care
You implied it was bad OT comments derailing threads aren't too bad as long as it doesn't totally derail the thread and there is still football talk. Annoying when you start reading a thread and you have to go back 3 or 4 pages to find the last on topic post
No I didn't, you just read it that way I agree. Look at just about every match thread, the first page or two is usually piss taking bollox with the odd football comment here and there. This is mainly down to the game being far away but some punters wanting it up early (nice choice of words there eh? ). However, when it gets closer to the game, the off topic stuff stops and it serves its purpose
