Again you are off-beam comparing something that was only started as a 'market' for six states to trade with each other but which 'morphed' into something that many of the member states 'spilt blood' in wars to avoid.

Also, you are twisting my comments, I did not say that it's laws and diktats are worse than those inflicted by brute force by our old empire. I said they were detrimental to this country, a big difference. You really need to stop putting your own version of other posters comments up if you want to avoid the flak you inevitably attract, but then you'd have nothing to get off on...

 

I suppose they told you we were only trying to teach the Golliwogs and Savages some table manners and that it was for their own good. (The fact that in teaching them such civilising principles we put tens of thousands of them to the sword is just an irrelevance and need not be mentioned)

I am sorry that you do not feel it necessary to either retract or explain your comment. I note that you are busy copying and pasting clever quotations instead, although perhaps these are oblique ways of getting further comment across? I think to accuse me of being 'racist' and not have the courtesy of providing an explanation runs the risk of putting you into the category of intolerant, bigoted left-liberals who use this as a tactic of first choice to stifle sensible debate on certain topics. It is all too easy for the ignorant and those with closed minds to accept modern conventional wisdom without inquiry, and clearly alarming and frustrating for you that others continue to question the way of things.

Pretty outrageous and undeserved, I'd say. As far as I can see there is only one person on this thread putting his hatred on display, Imaz, and that's you. You have refused to explain your comments despite my polite request, and that's simply because you have jumped to a conclusion without bothering to read anything and you're not of sufficient maturity to admit this and apologise. You're now creating all manner of infantile garbage that frankly embarrasses you more than me.

We've had decent dialogue in the past where we've shown each other respect. It is disappointing that you have decided that must come to an end.
