OT: Muslim staff at M&S can now refuse to sell pork & alcohol

shocking to think in my own country one has to think twice about wearing a uniform from HM forces in public in case i upset the different religious groups we have in this country,now dont get me wrong i would have happily carried out my duty whatever was asked of me and i did without question ,however i must admit whats going on in certain conflicts in the world today leaves me doubting the reasons why our service men are deployed with no obvious outcome or proof our death toll will make any difference.

 

It's a very poor situation mate.

I live in France and grudgingly live with their ludicrous bureaucracy, idiotic laws and resistance to any foreign influences ......... that's the natural price you pay for being a guest in another country.

I avoid situations that would bring me into conflict with the locals which I don't think is much to ask tbh.
