PS, id also be intrested to see where F1, Supercross, moto-cross, MMA, Wrestling etc, rally drivingTae Kwon do etc and various other contact / combat sports fit into the "most dangerous" list.

I'd hazard a guess they are well above Skiing.

You got a link to those stat lists at all?

Having ridden a speedway bike and broken my wrist and ribs, albeit 40 years ago, I can safely say that a 500cc motorbike with no brakes on an enclosed shale track is probably significantly more dangerous than any of those sports you mention Flyer...

Injuries maybe but the most dangerous sport in the World - IE the one with the most fatalities - is fishing.

(P.S. I like your use of the word "Soccer"!)

Of course its dangerous but I'd prefer to ride on a closed circuit than on the streets with a large percentage of drivers not bothering to pay attention. I would think there's not a large enough participation to get a reasonable analysis but would you rather come off on a shale track or on a high street or motorway? Have a look at the barriers next time your on one, it would rip off the limbs of a fallen rider.

I don't mind dangerous things if they are in my control, I did a lot of mountain biking and going down 45* steps can be pretty dangerous but it would have been my fault if I came off.

Riding on the road or cracking your head on a rock just because its in the wrong place is more scary to me.
