OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

It worries me too that no-one besides Minxy (and yourself to a lesser degree) has tried to save Magic. I still think we have more to gain pursuing Magic than anyone else but I wish there was more effort to save him. Unless Mafia think him going is a foregone conclusion and are trying not to look guilty themselves... <fingers crossed>


So what do we do if Magic is innocent tonight- what is our strategy for tomorrow? Astro-Bod-AFC triangle? Skylarker as other person with a role?

Is there anyone who should be the lead suspect if Magic is innocent/anyone who we can assume is innocent if Magic is. If Magic is innocent- I guess that would look good for Minxy. (If she were Mafia, she'd probably be happy with Magic being main target)

And no, I'm quite happy for him to die, if he was innocent he should of done a better job fighting his corner.

 

The three most suspicious candidates after last night wer Astro, afcftw and Magic. A&A appear to have saved themselves, Magic looks doomed. Does that tell us anything?

Hope our cops are sensible with this. Sky suggested he was going to look at magic so if he was telling the truth about being a cop, he needs to consider changing his target as it will be a wasted night if magic is lynched. Same goes for the doctor too. Don't waste what little we have!

 

If the doctor dies, then presumably they can't save anyone that night, right? So if Magic was the doctor, then he wouldn't be able to save anyone, assuming he gets lynched?

 

Yeah investigators please don't waste a day on me, my stupid vote has cost us enough time today without wasting an investigation as well.

Correct. Same goes for any role. The lynch is first.

 

If someone is assisinated, do we hear if that was from vigilante or mafia? I assume yes. (Apologies if this has been said somewhere else.)

 

Who to investigate? I think Astro and AFC definitely should be on the list. Skylarkers's claim should be checked out by the other cop. I think those three would all be good choices to investigate (and snitch can't watch all three).

Yes, if Magic turns out to be the doctor the cops will need to stay quiet until the Don is slain- otherwise they will be taken out at night. If Magic turns out to be the Don- then there is no reason why the two cops shouldn't announce themselves. If Magic is the Don- knowing who the two cops are would put the town on the path to winning the game.

 

Will we see any last minute defections from Magic to Astro?

 

Usually, although it is up to the host (MITO).

 

MITO will tell us if someone is assassinated but don't know if he will highlight who did it

 

I'm telling you investigating me is a big old waste of time. When it comes back innocent that doesn't help us figure out anything about anyone else.

 

Just hope they don't opt for the same person lol. Although I did point out a way of telling if the snitch as been involved earlier, just need the cops to be clever.

 

I wouldn't investigate you. I'd leave you alone. You're not the Don and you bring **** ups to the table. If you are Mafia, the other Mafia members will be wanted you dead lol

if someone was the doctor.. i'm not giving hints.. if they are lynched they did before anything else happens.

further... the mafia get next moves. if they assassinate him... then unless he's protecting himself he's dead.

further... the vigilante strikes next. if he targets the doctor then he's similarly dead...

please note the doctor is either protecting himself... OR... is protecting a nominated person...

 

Who not to investigate? Assuming Magic snuffs it, Astro, Bodanki, Billy, Minxy and Milk would all be possible candidates.

Danilo and Lucaaas are very much under the radar at the moment. I harbour no particular suspicions there though, beyond my general distrust of everyone.
