Ok - So whne does the voting start for round 2, or has it already and when is the deadline?

 

What are your thoughts so far? Who do you think is looking suspicious? Do you think you've worked anything out?

 

A purely random lynching will more often than not pick someone who is from the majority. (in this case, the townsfolk).
The only case that the townsfolk are not the majority is that Mafia have majority (in which case Mafia have already won).

Statistically, running purely on random selections Mafia will win much more often than Town.

The only complicating factor is the Cops... and they will help town out some. However, by the time they locate the Mafia it would usually be too late.




Most simple game possible of Mafia would be just three people. (and a pretty dull game)

With one person Mafia, that gives 33% chance of town winning on random vote alone.

 

8pm is when the day changes over, so the votes start after that point.

 

Round 1 simply a random vote - not much to go on, after one round.

Why you questioning me so much, you got something to hide?

 

The point is to take mafia control away from them so giving them time to use their control defeats the purpose

If I voted at 4pm for Gerrez they would have 4 hours to hope something changed, or to engineer some bullshit reason to change votes (or for magic to suddenly log on and throw in a new vote?)

Or what if Gerrez himself voted for one of the other 2? How would we know if it was saving himself because he was innocent or mafia? Would we then waste a round on him?

Pure chance is the fairest option (in round 1).

I want more to go on from some of the people who where quiet on day one... I already have some ideas about the more talkative people... Whether they are the ramblings of a mad man or I'm somewhere near the truth who knows!

1 vote per person is the optimum strategy with 27% chance of killing a mafia. That is not great but it is the BEST that you can do (unless someone posts a screenshot of their PM that says they are a mafia)

How about you billy? You started getting the votes going on the first day and seemed to encourage the hostility... Something to hide?

 

Thats not the point and you know it. It was clear that the one vote per person wasn't going to work and you know full well that that approach is about judging the reaction of mafia who don't want to be in the firing line. Voting in the dying seconds just made you look very dodgy.

 

Well, Sky has made the first claim for a role....

 

Maybe my initial thought that sky was hiding something was correct... But maybe he's not mafia...

I think he might be telling the truth.. Either way he hasn't influenced voting much yet so maybe worth investigating him but not stringing him up just yet?

 

I have a role. But you decide what it is. But killing me off wouldn't be wise.
