For the record, I was talking about one vote per person in comparison to Biscan's pick on one guy approach. As I've already said, there is very little info in the first round and I suspect the second round won't be much better considering how many players we have. However, posters need to stoke a conversation to be able to get anything at all, hence me discussing the tactical approach. I agree with Biscan that staying silent is probably better early on, that's just not my style (I'm sure some of you will be shocked at that revelation )

Yeah I'm not one for staying quiet, if did that game would become boring with no one talking n people would lose interest

 

Last time I was mafia don and varying from the plan got me targeted. This time I don't want to be targeted for obvious reasons (not that I'm the don) so I'll put it down to chance. If the town loses me at least they won't suffer too much. If mafia lose a member it can complicate things for them.

Though I'm pretty sure since the mafia are smaller in number (5ish out of 15) they have a 30% chance of being picked while town has a 70% chance of being picked. This may not be the best method....

May I just comment, think about this.

The game rules show whats what. There are 4 mafia out of 15 of you. That means they can easily exploit the random everyone gets one vote system and hide just by voting for each other and later on just have even one switch and tip the vote cos not all 15 of you will play along with this system so you'll have 3 or 4 peopel who won't play the random game.

Now i'll shut up and you lot can get back to accusing each other and getting ready to string each other up.

This game is just like the aftermath of a villa visit to anfield

What happens when 2 people vote for you? Is that the chop?

 

no it requires a majority vote. if for example at 8pm one person has 3 and the other 2 the person with 3 gets the chop as you say.


However if say 3 people get 3 votes each i run a random number generator and choose one for the chop.

Have no doubt the lynch mob will have its blood tonight no matter who it is.

In some versions of the game i found a majority had to vote for a person so with 15 that would be 8 people voting for one. I think that'd be a bit much.

I could have set a minimum number of votes for a lynching but that would have annoyed astro maybe.

Right now its anyone's game.
