OT: Mafia game thread starts Sunday 8pm 14/9/14

But why change votes so late when it's not going to change anything yet look suspicious? Surely as mafiosi you wouldn't do that (unless to save the Don)? I still feel this was more likely blundering around than an attempt at vote rigging but fair enough that we take last nights votes and times into account (as my twenty second delay in voting for Lucaas seems to be applicable to my alleged blatant guilt ).

 

Not sure about Milk but I suspect AFC (aka The Guard Dog) will be after your balls if you changed

 

I changed with ten or fifteen minutes to go. there were others asking the same questions as me (why is no protecting Lucaas? Why is it a landslide?) So, as the sole 100% innocent body at the time, I lead the change. It didn't work and Lucaas was fortunately proven to be mafia

For the record, I believe Milk is innocent. Danilo said he was innocent and Milk as not changed in his approach since last nights conversion. Bod, Danilo and Sky have all been very quiet although thats fairly normal for all of them too.

I like Milk's suggestion above. We know who was innocent prior tot he conversion so rather than looking for the converted, we should be looking for one of the three remaining mafia members. That's three from AFC, Billy, IBWT, Nozzer, Astro, Minxy

Yeah I saw all that but I still don't get why IBWT changing tack late is evidence of mafiadom (enough to be as certain as Milk stated). It was pretty hectic after the Danilo bombshell...which fortunately didn't give the mafia time to mobilise to save Lucaaas (or they just let him float away as a necessary casualty of war). Possible IBWT was scrambling around for clues from fellow mafia as the deadline was tight but then why change twice? It's evidence but as with that against everyone else it's circumstantial at best.

 

So the town is gonna hate me for my research last night....


I chose to check out Gerrez because it seemed convenient that he was doctor, but all i got was confirmation that he was. Not sure who I'll vote for. I was leaning towards afcftw for now, but like usual, it'll change if sky has some information (hopefully he's not converted). Though if he was converted, we'd know from his lack of new information (though we should check if investigators lose their power if they get converted. MITO?) Hopefully that's the case, or the mafia chose to convert someone else tactically and left me and Sky.

We know that Lucaaas is gone which leaves 3 guaranteed townspeople (Myself, Sky, and Gerrez) - I know Gerrez as of last night had not been converted according to my investigation (conversion comes before my results came in) so that leaves me and Sky or a different townsperson altogether. If we choose a random town member tonight Mafia will be hoping to get them out via vote and use their kill so we have to be careful.

Note that I haven't voted officially yet.

 

Ok so out of those 6 we have who as main suspects?

Me (for apparent vote influencing)

AFC for his relentless (and unjustified) pursuit of me

IBWT for his changing votes last night (slightly harsh IMO)

Astro - he's never been this quiet before in his life (but little else to suggest guilt)

Nozzer - same as IBWT (and he did get involved with the awful campaign to lynch me)

Minxy - Strange voting times/votes but little else

So the above suggests to me myself, AFC and Nozzer are the three main out of those 6 right?

 

Thank you... and of that list AFC and Billy were both pretty quick to switch to Lucaaas once Danilo outed himself. Which, whereas doesn't mean they're innocent- supports them somewhat. Which leaves IBWT, Nozzer, Astro, and Minxy... Obviously not all 4 are Mafia... and it could be at least one Mafioso switched over to Lucaaas early to protect himself... but I bet we've got at least 2 Mafia in that list of 4. Astro and Minxy are the two I'd trust the most.

Well, this tells us possible two things:

a) Danilo is lying and saying he choose to investigate me and it said doctor is the obvious and easy co out (excuse the pun)

or

b) Danilo is telling the truth in which case it confirms I remain the Doctor and I've not been converted (5 happens after 2)

Danilo confirms 'b' too.



Investigators do lose their powers. Sky didn't investigate

 

Unless Bod is guilty- I suspect AFC isn't (unless recently converted). It seems a little crazy to link yourself together in Mafia if you know you're both guilty- because if one goes, the other becomes suspect uno.

So again- by that logic it is IBWT, Billy, Nozzer, Astro, and Minxy- of which 3 must be guilty. The same four names keep coming up... IBWT, Nozzer, Minxy & Astro. Only one of the four is innocent.

Yeah, it bugs me that we have two cops- and both were unable to tell us anything new at this critical stage- nothing to help the town or implicate themselves either.

 

to confim what danilo is asking here:

yes if an investigator is converted he loses power.

I have thought about this today and can see that in a story line it would have been better to leave to powers with the person so they become "a dirty cop" however that is for a future game perhaps.

again there was a conversion. that person was told they are ordinary mafia


As to the rest..... i can only confirm the order of actions is on the OP. lynch, mafia and snitch, doctor effect, vigilante, investigate. make of that what you will. i am not in any way confirming one thing or another occurred

I think they are both innocent but...

...the issue with Bod and AFC, no innocent knows who anyone else is so why have they linked up throughout if both innocent? Maybe its just because they're the outsiders in this game.

 

Astro is consistent- and Minxy isn't always paying attention. I can see their actions as being in character.
