    It would appear that Barton is in hot water again after saying on twitter that Thiago Silva is an overweight ladyboy, then asking if he is pre or post op. PSG are considering legal action apparently.

    If his brains were dynamite he wouldn't have enough to blow his hat off

    The thing that's so funny with Barton is that he slates so many other World Class players but then claims to be God's gift to the World. <laugh>

    His Neymar jibe is quite funny also- Neymar is the Justin Bieber of football- brilliant on the old youtube, but cat piss in reality.

    I think he's funny. Amazes me that people who claim to hate him, also follow him and hang on his every word waiting for a chance to be outraged/rant about him.

    Legal action? For basically banter?

    Or is it not banter/funny if its Joey B?

    Some people need to lighten up methinks.

    Part of the PSG statement (according to BBC Sport)...

    PSG say Barton's tweets go beyond "verbal jousting".

    Their statement continued: "Unacceptable remarks have been made by Olympique Marseille player Joey Barton against Paris St Germain player Thiago Silva.

    "These attacks are serious and go beyond mere verbal jousting. The directors of the club, the players and the coaching staff are supportive of Thiago Silva and cannot accept such statements.

    "They reaffirm their unwavering commitment to the values of respect that should govern our sport."

    I don't think so.

    He does look a bit a twat when he slags off players who are obviously far better than him, though the Neymar one was quite funny.

    I stopped following him, he's occasionally funny, but he mainly just tweets non-stop bollocks and far too much of it.

    I stopped following Gervais for similar reasons, he just argues with bible bashers non-stop.

    I like him, he makes me chuckle. He's a very nice and intelligent chap too, people just over react because its joey barton. He throws bread out for the birds and they gobble it all up <laugh>

    I stopped following Gervais as all he wanted to do was bible bash , it got boring
    i stopped following Barton when he hash tagged his Beiber hate , then took to arguing with little kids defending their pop star hero , total dick!
