OT - how strict are hotels...

    Basically...will I get fined for being sick in a hotel...I cleaned it up as best as I would but it still stunk!!

    I was sick on the saturday night but didn't see it till this morning as well!

    If you haven't checked out yet go to a hardware and buy a brush and some carpet cleaner/1001 or some gear like that,give it a good scrub and use the hairdryer to dry it,that's if you puked on the floor.If just in bed you should be ok

    It depends on the hotel chain. We do charge for guests who have been sick/**** on the carpet (it happens) in our chain. Its fair too, because the poor cleaner, who has to clean gets extra money for doing it. You're best off just going to reception and confessing to be honest. If you try and clean it yourself, you could only end up damaging the floor, hence causing yourself greater expense.

    I've already checked out now. I left the window open...so hopefully the smell might have gone before they clean it.

    How much do you normally fine people? P.s. It was in Dublin so I expect it to be more than normal anyways.

    Do you own a hotel in dublin? Argh I'm scared to tell you!! It was Isaacs Hotel, opposite the bus station.

    I was on the coca cola for the match, I got looked at like I'd went in on Xmas day n **** on their kids when I ordered it.

    Needless to say I made up on the night, some 15 jagerbombs later.

    I had a great time, you need a bank loan for how expensive it is though!!
