I am clinging on to the fact (I hope) that the hair gene is inherited from your maternal side. My maternal grandfather died with a full head of hair...my paternal grandfather has the nickname 'Baldy'...I am late 20's and seem to be okay so far...
I always thought it was your maternal grandfather ? But then I have seen brothers, one balding, the other a good head of hair ?????????
Somehow I have managed to keep a full head of hair at the ripe old age of 53, just some greying bits on the side...... Mrs TR was convinced that I would be bald by 30 as it was receeding at a rate of knots at that time, but somehow it has slowed down, not sure how....contentment? Noticed that the chin has a lot of grey when I don't shave for a couple of days, I still intend to grow a goatee before long.....
Big... and I mean BIG... hair. Going grey at the temples, which I blame on the wife! I see friends I was at school with, mostly losing their hair. So I celebrate the fact that my brain's smaller than theirs!
Turned 34 last Monday and still have a reasonably luxuriant blonde bouffant, maybe starting to recede a bit but I keeps it long anyway so I can hide that fact. Facial hair wise I favour a musketeer style tasche but I shaved it off yesterday and am now scaring my work colleagues with my baldy face bits.
At last .................. My wife thinks it's mid life crisis. Good to see someone else thinking likewise! The handle bar tash stays.
I have all my own hair, so does my elder brother...........but he keeps his in a cardboard box under his bed!
You know that bloke, the baddie from Thunderbirds, Bald but thick eyebrows That's me. Stupid stuff grows absolutely on every square inch of my body and really fast - apart from the top of my head Been like that for the best part of 15yrs now so fcuk it anyway.
Don't worry, mate ........... the hair thing is overrated. There's nothing like the wind rushing thru your ............ on your face when riding a bike.
Middle-aged and still sporting a full head of hair. It used to have a kind of fine, flyaway texture, standing up hilariously at the merest puff of wind. But now it's getting thicker, if anything. No Belgravia Clinic for me.
