Agreed. In the main, musically it's ****ing **** but I liked the atmosphere, the area, the occasional diamond I stumbled across and the mix (albeit the mix being weighted toward current indie bandwagon/X factor banality). It's a great thing for the city and I'd like to see it prosper.
Speaking of X Factor, Leon, I've just had it on because apparently there's a bloke from Hull on tonight (a friend of a friend). I've just seen a 17-year-old girl with the biggest ****ing camel toe I've ever seen. Not really sure how to feel about that.
Went yesterday to watch the New York Brass Band from York - they were on the Yellow bus stand. A distant relative is in the band. It was pretty decent, lots of people milling around and a fairly relaxed atmosphere. Not as busy as I was expecting, but pretty good nevertheless.
i know. 5 'of age' young ladies wearing next to f'kall jigging around on a stage. the singing was awful but i think we all thought of a few ways to shut then up
