Tyres were ****ed and I thought you had gone wide. If I hadn't got a penalty early on I'd have happily sat behind for second but was pushing to get tens econds ahead of Vettel

I basically spun off and got the pen, so I didnt know if id cut you up or something??/

 

Yeah I was pretty shocked, that happens sometimes when im in traffic, i'll get spun and get a pen for it!

 

Tangled with Hamilton and we both went off (he really should stop trying to overtake me at the beginning )

I got back up to sixth twice but also went wide twice. When I was chasing Vettel at first he was in third so didn't think I would get near you (especially considering you was just ahead of me before I pitted and you had already been in). When I overtook him I was in second so someone must have pitted.

 

Seriously feeling guilty. I should have held back. told you I'm competitive and won't settle if I can get something better; second ahead of vettel, no way I could get first with pen.

 

Yeah before your pits you were gaining but I thought you must have to put, each lap closer and I could see you in my mirrors and then finally you went in and I relaxed more!

You did bloody well to make up though and get back to 2nd

 

As I said, tyres were going. I should have pitted a lap later, I reckon I'd have gotten passed you (legally) then.
