There's a need to educate children about race, sex, and religious tolerance if as a society we want to raise stable, balanced individuals. But those who hide in the mob shouting abuse, already know what they are doing is wrong. Individual abusers can be singled out by those close to them and handed over to the officials but Chelsea fans not adhering to the minutes silence, what do you do, throw them all out? It just won't happen.
Anytime you look on a debate or on a thread about homophobia anywhere no one ever says anything homophobic or that would in anyway insinuate that they would dish homophobic abuse out to anyone that would come out in public. So what's all this fuss about? Seems to me that footballers are underestimating and looking down at football supporters again despite them being the reason for every footballer, no matter how ****, being filthy rich. I say instead of discussing a made up issue we should discuss the real issue here, footballers and the media thinking football fans are neanderthals .
Good point why all the fuss nobody really cares. It seems that this is an issue where only a minority are abusive so if the powers that be clamp down on this minority then the whole problem goes away. Seems simple?
