In a situation where the road is narrow and there is oncoming traffic the driver must wait until its safe to pass. Yes, our infrastructure for cyclists and cars is piss poor almost everywhere. Yes, some cyclists are knobheads, just like you get knobheads in every walk of life.
Wait until traffic has stopped from both directions or the road is clear before crossing. Remember that traffic does not have to stop until someone has moved onto the crossing. ... If nopedestrian signals have been provided, watch carefully and do not cross until the traffic lights are red and the traffichas stopped. Essentially, if you are approaching or stood at the crossing the driver doesn't have to stop. I agree that they are still ****s for not stopping.
No cyclist cycle for a hobby and don't have decency to use the cycle lanes provided . They're all the same . I'm legally allowed on this road, so **** you is their mentality. In my opinion the drivers and cyclists without knobs are the worst offenders. As a white van driver I feel I'm more than qualified on the said matters.
On a Zebra Crossing, once a pedestrian places their foot on the carriageway, they have right of way as long as the vehicle hasn't already the area of the crossing. It is an offence , if the driver doesn't stop. Obviously look both ways to ensure you aren't run over by some pleb, but the good news is that should you be hit, you're in the right and can sue the bastards.
Some cyclists stripped today to protest about the closure of a cycle lane. I'm really impressed with them, I didn't think it was possible to make an even bigger **** of yourself than riding round on a death trap looking like a luminous skeleton, but these ****s managed it.
They only cycle around looking for trouble basically. That's the entire idea of it I think it's not about travelling its about having a massive chip on your shoulder and being given the green light to take it all out on normal people
