Well, from what you say it could be autism. But it also could not be. It's too little to go on. Somehow you can feel when someone is autistic. If someone with experience spends time with him they'll be able to tell. So you really should go and get it sorted. There's no need to hesitate. If it's a false alarm then big deal. If it is autism and you get it sorted now, it means your son will be getting the right support earlier rather than later. Also, if it's not autism it might be something else where he could do with some support.

My other half works in early years child care mate and is pretty well qualified. She says that what you describe does sound like autistic behaviour, although obviously it might not be. Good luck with everything mate.
