My earliest memory of following city was constantly spamming the ceefax to see the score, that m moment of dread till it appears fearing we'd conceded

i still with ceefax existed, i think it's the best format for scores. proper traditional

My overriding memory of ceefax is always loading the page AFTER the one you wanted and having to wait whilst it scrolled through umpteen pages of crap! I do miss it.

the worst was when it loaded divison two and division three.. so when city were bottom div, took about half enough to see the city table or city scores
 
Before smartphones, social media, forums and SSN ceefax and teletext where best way to information.

Although Sky Sports use to have a Sports News hour at 6pm.

It was so annoying when you turned to a page it use to be in the middle of the pages and you had to wait until it got to page one.

My dad still uses ceefax every morning.

Thought ceefax went out the door a few year ago with the digital revelution

id use ceefax now still, it's brilliant, end of the day, if city has 70 shots on goal and we lose 1-0, it matters **** all:p

too technical mate, we ain't managers, if our forwards are striking like a elephant, we canny do **** all

ceefax is the boss, i heard you guys only just got the internet?

opta, i could do their job, easily... yet im in a f**ing s**te it job

nah i love football statistics, i always watch city games twice in a week, record it all, f**ing love football mate, couldn't do without it

this city forum turned to **** recently, the sunlan board is the best on here
