In 30 years of life, I don't think I've yet once managed to get to the discounted meat section in Tesco. There seems to be an iron curtain of cagoules and sweat preventing me. I can see the little yellow stickers, but they're beyond reach. It's not worth it. Anything that says it's discounted brings out the animal in people.
I love the discounted meat secruin, in a regular. Brought home a 500g pack of Aberdeen Angus mince today for £1.63. It's currently residing in the freezer. Last Sunday I got a 700 odd gram Silverside beef joint for £3.24, spot on. A month or so back I got a pair of delicious veal steaks for £2.something, supposed to be about £9/£10 (depending on weight obviously, can't remember this particular pack). Nothing, however, will ever, EVER beat the time I got an entire duck for £4.99 I think it was. That was the steal of the century, considering a pair of breasts alone will set you back £8 for cheapo ones.
Walls sausages? Only a skank would eat that doggy poo at full price, I dread to think what kind of scoundrel would wait for them to be reduced. I don't believe a word of it Party.
True fact coming up. Though I've claimed to have never reached the promised land of the reduced meat section, I HAVE reached the nirvana of the reduced fruit, veg & salad section. I got a bag of Baby Kale for...6p. Blew my mind.
Reduced non raw meat fridgeries is my favourite. Innocent smoothies and pressed fruit juice for about 70p. 6 packs of muller fruit corner yogurts for about the same. Cuts of real ham/chicken or whatever from the deli meat counter for a pittance. Just two weeks back I got just over half a kilo of sliced roast turkey for something ludicrous like 50p in morrisons. Between 3:30 and 4pm on a Sunday is the happy hour. Get on it party.

maybe it's just me but i just cant comprehend human beings acting like that.. makes me ashamed of society today.. why did i have to be born in the 90's.. what a different world it must have been in the 70s n 80s..
