Perhaps it is indicative of the decline of spirituality and faith in our modern, godless society that we don't think the Son of God has any interest in, or influence on, our specific requirements. Or, perhaps it is that we strive to prove ourselves a welcoming, inclusive group who feel that promotion of a specific, monotheist deity would alienate a number of our members and would be inconsistent with our secularist philosophy. Or perhaps we think he's really just some bloke on a keyboard.
