OT Anyone noticed anything unusual in the Western skies this week?

    I would have a look but seeing as though there could be thousands of stars/ planets in the sky I wouldn't know which was which.

    To put it simply, the bright ones that don't 'twinckle'. Mars will be the red/orange bright one that rises in the east.

    How come sometimes you can see the moon and the sun at the same time?

    I fully appreciate I sound a bit special needs but I can't work it out, I just can't.

    Does it mean the place on the opposite side of the planet to us can't see either??

    I doubt even Patrick Mawer or the wheelchair bloke could work it out, it's that confusing!

    Google moonrise and moonset and it'll bend your head even further.

    For example tomorrows moon rise is 03:44 and moonset 12:39

    On the 22nd of March the moon rises at 05:27 sets at 18:39 with a New Moon at 14:37.
