OT - any tips for naturally inducing labour?

the coming Sunday at 1am... Girl.

Girls are always late, it has to be one!

Love that this thread has nearly 600 views. Its the most eagerly anticipated birth since....ah hell i cant remeber the guys name but im sure there was a book about it, any authors reading fancy writing the sequel?

Sticking with the subject of labor, here are two Dutch dudes trying to find out how painfull giving birth is:

Through electrostimulation through the abdomen they simulate the pain that comes close to the sort of pain that women feel during contractions

Many years ago, trying to negotiate Mill Hill Circus roundabout too fast, I ended up doing a trick drop-handed spin and going the wrong way round the roundabout, I decided it was time to invest in four wheels rather than two!

The test was to endure 2 hours of labor with the pain levels low at the start and gradually increasing the contraction stimulation. The guy on the right had a low pain level and lasted 1 hour and some 15 minutes. The guy on the left made it to the end, barely as you can see.

 

2 hours lol, not really that authentic an experience then. It goes on a lot longer than that for most women. Nevertheless l am sure these two brave souls will appreciate how painful giving birth can be, even if they didn't do the Full Monty.

 

LOL .... like the idea of stopping if the pain gets too much

Yeah, that could work! Though, she's actually paid attention to the last few games that I've watched, and remarked: "Why do you support this team, they're ****! Why don't you just support a good team?!"

So, even the impending demise of our fair club, isn't having the necessary affect to induce labour.

She's still un-willing to try the sex-related options - her loss...
