Planes have permission to fly over at altitudes greater than 32000 feet. It was flying at 33000 feet. Black boxes have been found by rebels and sent to Russia.

 

it's not a great idea to fly over a war zone when several planes have been shot down over the last few weeks, is this ignorance of is there something else going on?

Putin is supplying the rebels with some serious weaponry, he is also blaming Ukraine as it happened in their airspace, easy to see who bears ultimate responsibility...

 

probably the americans if flyer is handing out responsibility

 

apparently 2 of the dead were Newcastle fans coming to nz to watch them in pre season friendlies

 

So Ukraine is saying its Russian SAMS used by the rebels and they have proof of radio recordings admitting to it plus their leader took credit on twitter before they found out it was civilian and deleted it.

However it seems it was followed by two Ukrainian fighters up until it exploded. So it could have been AAM.
Also it was diverted from the normal route due to a storm, this led to increased attention from both sides to it.

This is why I never believe the official accounts without thinking for myself. Someone has created a huge web of lies here.
