Yorkshire has been lucky enough to be chosen to host two stages of next years Tour de France, an honour indeed, I shall be pitching my tent from Feb.

I know of a good tent warmer if you need one.

Half ecstatic, half gutted... I like the Tour De France, and I love Yorkshire having lived there for years...

But I thought this would be about young Joe Root doing well in the Tests <laugh>

Anyway, how do they get from Yorkshire to France? Can you get a Ferry? If so, do they have to go on cycle-machines for the duration of the trip?

Great news, I think little journey may be in order.

And yeah TheJPF, extremely proud of young Joe Root. He does scare me though. It is like watching a carbon copy of a young Michael Atherton. Hopefully he won't end up with similar demons in his head.

What a year its been for Yorkshire after dominating the Olympics!

They go on Paddle boats, no need for cycle machines.

I'm packing up my tent already, have enough time to save up for a caravan now, it's the year after next, first two stages in Yorkshire, Leeds is one of the cities to be visited, and the third stage will be in London.
If anyone is in a positon to see any of the stages, I would definitely recomend it, the atmosphere is amazing, it's like a travelling carnival, the amount of people that follow it is huge, always said it would be something I would do if I had a lottery win, follow the Tour.

So follow me follow me, down to the hollow,
And there let us wallow in glorious mud.
