Mine will be going to a local secondary school. Not keen on the one they would be eligible for because it had a reputation when I was young but its much better now. I want to move house though (currently a two bed mid-terrace with three boys) and I'm hopeful of going back to my routes. If that happens, they'll go to my old school which I'd be very happy about as they have very good standards There is only one religious school in this area and its not the closest anyway. We're not religious at all
Mine went to our Catholic primary school but the secondary school allocated wasn't, and I don't think still isn't, a particularly good school - no trying to rubbish it cos I know lots of kids who went there and some of my friends teach there, but academically it's not really achieving yet. We were very lucky that our boys were very clever [still are ] and we needed to nurture that so they achieved their potential. Boys more than girls are renowned for messing about in school so we just wanted to keep them achieving. A good amount of their friends from primary went to the secondary [which has no affiliated religion,] with them as well.
The reason Ellie only applied to private schools has nothing to do with a political stance. It's better money and the pupils seem far more open to absorbing what's being taught. That means she is making a real difference Neither of mine went private, I can assure you
How do you know? He could be curling up in a little ball for all we know. Hidden by his stern manly character on this forum. It could all be a lie.
Me. I only live here. As far back as I know, all my ancestors were Anglo-Irish Scousers . I'm just here trying to bring a bit of culture to the place. A sort of missionary- though it's a bit of a boring position.
