Brilliant Still probably the most memorable Welsh win for me, even compared to the Grand Slams.

 

Unfortunately, this was always the likely outturn given that there are already 3 teams selected from the Ospreys’ Region and there were none from the Blues’ Region.

That said, there are (in my opinion) a number questions to be asked about the original vetting/decision making process, eg

1) had Cardiff been contacted by (representatives of) the WRU before the first decision had been taken?

2) if so, is that why 1 of the 10 Clubs had to be excluded?

There are others of course ….

Anyone watch Leinster v Toulouse? What an enthralling game and great drama in extra time! Could have gone either way really. How about Dupont's turnovers at the breakdown!

 

A great game. That Toulouse defence was incredible.
