I wouldn't think it's likely unless it's the third test and the lions are already two up but you never know! Be nice if he was there anyway.
Fab second test between Australia and France. Helped greatly by a distinct lack of pointless kicking as seen from other sides Missed the first game but won't miss the decider!
Good to see Tristan, the son of former Neath player - Geraint Davies - start for Wales at No 8 for the Under 20s. Geraint’s Dad and Mum both died of Covid within a week of each other earlier this year. Geraint told us that his Dad contracted Covid in hospital, came home (without being tested) and gave it to his wife….
Hi agree Taff unfortunate as he was trying to get his hands on the ball but contact made with the eyes
The Lions now know what it’s like to play against a ‘strong’ South African team. Anyway, reinforcements are on the way:
That game was exactly what the Lions needed. Off the pace first half and some poor decisions, there's no way they should have not scored at the end of the first half. Farrell poor as well. Second half much better. I'm not disappointed with the loss, the signs are actually very good from that half. SA hanging on to the lead a little at the end. What really annoyed me is that last 15 or so the Lions had no possession to have any chance of winning because every time they did get the ball they kicked it back to SA, aimlessly I just do not understand the thinking there, especially at "elite" level.
I agree Farrell was poor yesterday. I was amazed that they didn't go for the scrum instead of a tap penalty at the end of the 1st half when they had a two man advantage. South Africa A would have had to put at least one back into the scrum.
It was mind boggling. I'm glad the Lions didn't sneak the win, the loss will focus Gats, that's for sure!
British and Irish Lions to play The Stormers: Hogg: Adams, Daly, Henshaw, Van der Merwe; Smith, Price, Sutherland, Cowan-Dickie, Furlong, Beard, Hill, Beirne, H Watson, Conan Replacements: George, Vunipola, ***erson, AW Jones, Simmonds, Davies, Harris, Rees-Zammit
What a cracking third test Aus v France. Australia were brilliant to win that a man down for 75 minutes! Talking of which, I've heard some one eyed commentary before but that Aus lot are another level. Clear red card. Can't believe AWJ is on the bench today, amazing. Hope he comes through unscathed. Looking forward to the game, good chance for a few players to step up.
You clearly haven’t heard a Turk commentating on the Scarlets …. Big day for Henshaw as I think he could be really important in the Tests - his guile could create breaks/gaps in the Bokke defence
