I keep reading that OGj is Spanish but he was born in Sabadell and played for Barca, Espanyol and Lleida which suggests to me that he is Catalan. Calling him Spanish is like calling BB English. Benvingut, Oscar. Junts podem guanyar aquesta lliga. All the way with OGJ
I nearly wrote that it would be like calling you a Kiwi but I realised that you would take that as a compliment.
Sure Leeds have been a very successful side a long time ago but are they just considered massive now because of the potentially big crowds they could get? They've not been getting anywhere near the Premier league since 2006... Do we hear the same from Forest/Wednesday/Derby supporters? I do accept we might be one of the smaller clubs in this league but we've been here (and above) for a long time so they ought to be used to it.
Threads just appear in order of the latest post - so if you went back 50 pages and found a thread and posted it then it would jump to the top.
Manchester City were in the third tier only a few years ago. Leeds are potentially a much larger club than Watford would ever want to be but unless they get the type of investment Man City got they could languish in the lower divisions for years yet.
Just thought it was interesting that people were actively posing on those other threads on the day we announced a new manager, and of course my comment elevated it up again. Probably just me!!!
You lot are impossible! You have turned missing-the-point into an art form. Our Oscar may not like being called Spanish. It maybe why he looks so miserable in photographs. Given that the colours of Catalunya are yellow and red, it may also be why we will see the return of red shorts.

Here is something - although his quotes are probably historic rather than recent: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...ng-faith-in-former-brighton-boss-9708653.html Sorry! Didn't see Yorkie link above - you are invisible today
Does anyone know if our Oscar is related in any way to Jerry - only I bought a copy of Terrapin Station back in 1978 and side 2 jumps all over the place. The hippy at Harlequin Records at the time told me it was meant to be like that but now I realise he was too stoned to know the difference so I sort of thought that Oscar could help out and get me a new copy.
