that makes for interesting reading. It does seem quite prophetic as well.

The bit about the dressing room stands out. Looking at the Monk situation did he see these sort of problems coming and with Rad being behind Orta decide it was better to be away from this s**t?

Morning Hemase. Good points and did you also notice the coaches communicating in Spanish bit. I seem to remember maybe WJ pointing this out after attending some u23 games. It was always clear Monk didn’t fancy the new setup wasn’t it. Also explains why we had Tc and now heck. Heck has said he has no interest in recruitment so won’t step on ortas toes

I notice that only two of the 18 played against Leeds. I don’t know how many were injured or had been sold, but that’s some statistic.

On the plus side the two were Traore, who caused us massive problems, and Bamford who scored a hat trick.

No comment from me.

I would love it if someone could list out the players brought to Leeds under Orta - just the names, I can do my own assessment
 
Rads knows nothing about football and even less about the league we are in.
He recruited staff to help him out the way you would in business by a good CV and presentation.but of course we know it counts for nothing in football.
This shower of shyte that con man Orta has brought in to sell on will make us no profit as no club will want them.
So i believe the money from wood and taylor has been thrown down the pan.
Without quality players being bought the crowds will drop and rads will be on a loser.cant see how he will make any money with this plan.
Another season like this and the books will not balance and he could bust the club.one i think he paid far too much for .

Rads “knew nothing” but we’re almost 18 months into him being here, 6 months under Cellino. He must have learnt a few things by now, it’s like a Rookie coach, when does the “know nothing” change to experienced?

First Rads needs to sack Orta and PH and bring us in a quality manager.

The only thing Rads needs to do then is pass contract negotiations on to a new Board member who he employs in the transfer windows as a consultant or Kinnear. Have the scouting team report to the new manager who instructs them direct his requirements.

Ian Harte got a lot of stick recently for his comments about the Spanish speaking at the u23's. Maybe he saw what we were not.

Ok I’ve done my own list, I think these are people who have come in after Orta started with us (end of May 2017). I’ve annotated as good fair bad or ? Where good means could in the right squad help us go up
Fair means might still show that but havnt consistently as yet
Bad means I think they are crap or they never got used for some reason
? Means I’ve never seen them play or hardly ever

If anyone cares to correct me on facts I’d be grateful

Forshaw. Good

Alioski. Good

Alioski I’m not sure of. Would he get into a wolves or villa team. I don’t think so. He gets no credit for Jansson. Was at club and only required a cheque to be written. No scouting required. So it looks like about 90% crap similar to when at Boro. Any one of us would do better. Can’t imagine the daft salary he’s probably on

Jansson fine didn’t know, so it’s 3 then

My criterion is not would they get into some other team but would they help us get up if the glaring issues (striker, LB, goalie until now and maybe LM AND 1x DM) are fixed. For me Alioski is good enough to be a yes, he looked very sharp yesterday
 
Morning all really is worrying how much influence orta has at our club.
I don't think radrizanni is going to bin him off anytime soon though and that in my opinion is going to cause major problems for him. Orta just seems to come across as a snake who's managed to con himself into jobs way beyond his ability.
I'd put kinnear in that bracket as well all pr bullshit and lack of transparency only adds fuel to the fire. How many fans stopping attending games will it take before radrizanni wakes up and smells the coffee?
The whole setup up just seems so over complicated, why does hecky need someone to coach set pieces, bring in players for him and dictate who we are going to sign whether you need them or not.
As many have already stated we need to go back to basics ditch the dof role,
Install an experienced no nonsense manager who can command the respect of the players. Buy established championship/ lower prem league players and adopt a style of play that we stick to not keep chopping and changing as soon as we lose a few games. All wishful thinking I know but unless there is a massive clear out or takeover by someone with far deeper pockets than radrizanni all I can see for the foreseeable future is mid table championship obscurity.

Yeah Monks a great manager, started well at Brum. Who will he blame this time<ok>

Let’s not confuse Monk being less than excellent with the topic of the thread

I believe the facts are that Orta has delivered little, and of course we may be stuck with the less able players for some time

For me the only positives are saiz and Alioski. Forshaw is for me a traditional move for the biggest fee we paid this season from a fellow champ club that Orta knows very well. I don’t ghink we needed him for that.
 
Just thinking that if Steve Gibson an owner with vast football knowledge and experience gave the job of recruitment and handed the Boro transfer budget to Orta then you can hardly blame Radz for falling into the same trap.

It's how Radz reacts come the end of this season that will be key. I posted yesterday about the glaring holes in our recruitment and specifically about the lack of thought about a players defensive ability aerially which has left us at a serious disadvantage against a lot of teams. Orta will probably point out that Borthwick Jackson was supposed to be a tall left back and it just didn't work out. Fair enough but when the chance came in January to fix our deficiencies he signed an inadequate and short left back and did nothing about the centre of defense at all.

If I was Radz I would want answers as to why the squad was not bolstered correctly in January as at that point we were still in a decent position. It's all very well having a DOF but if he proves to be a myopic one then the responsibility shifts back to the owner.

We are waiting Mr Radrazini...waiting for your end of season assessment and more importantly your actions to correct the fairly simple and basic errors which we the fans could see but it appears the decision makers could not.

The issue for me is not the various sub coaches themselves but that they are not PH’s team. I dread to think of the dynamics going on behind the scenes

Ditching the DoF sounds good but when Rad come in I did say he will clean up your act(keep you out of the courts) but he doesn't have Cellinos ready cash Orta is there to sell and buy to make the dosh,

If Orta goes you will just get another DoF <ok>

I agree Forshaw is the type of signing we need more of. I’m not sue with Alioski, seems to perform well against the poorer teams. Reading were no benchmark

Maybe not. It’s not long since our home crowds were 25k and club lost money on that. If Orta and his mistakes are kept I can see crowds slipping back to that level. Rad can’t afford that
