Can't we just both stay up? Preferably at the expense of Palace? Conversation is liberating.

What utter ****e! You said backing "the" team - i.e. backing Newcastle - you know you meant that as well as I do! You did not say the word "their" in your entire OP - two totally different meanings and you know it

Bet any money that there's less than 52405 there on Sunday - mainly because there are always seats in corporate areas empty and fenced off ones between sections of home and away fans. I don;t slate the support your club has - I think it's commendable - much like I do about ours. Nothing to shout about for over 40 years and getting crowds like we both do? Very few second rate clubs would get that support - yet we both do.

Hmm, I'd rather Nufc and Norwich stay up, Villa, Palace and Mackems down. That would be perfect!

But beggers cant be choosy, So as long as we stay up i dont care!

  4. As much as I dislike Man Utd and it would be funny as hell at first if it happened, I wouldn't like to see them relegated. I'd miss the big rivalry games we have each season and I'd much rather have those games (all hypothetical of course)

I understand it if its to the benefit of your own club but why would Newcastle or Sunderland fans want the other to be relegated IF both were able to survive?

No issue has been brought to my attention, just a bit of sub standard trolling. Unless you are actually taking TP's trolling and running with it as an actual topic of conversation? In which case <laugh>

I admire your honesty in intimating that you cannot bear another local derby defeat
