Since we've already got plenty of nominations and there a few clear names standing out, I'll post the poll tomorrow afternoon.
In terms of performance v Saints, Tim Krul. We could have won that game 6 or 7 but he was excellent at St. Marys v Newcastle.
Krul made two mistakes leading to goals in that game.. he was just lucky we hit the woodwork 3 times.
First goal he came off his line when the ball was heading to the corner flag and kept the ball in play instead of putting the ball out. His clearance went straight to Clyne and we scored within about 5 or 6 seconds of him giving the ball away. Clyne tried to lob him from 40 yards and the ball fell to Ramirez from a block. Krul dived at Ramirez' feet and he squared it to Lallana for a tap in. Second goal he fumbled a cross from Puncheon straight to Ramirez. Both goals ended up being tap ins. He made a few saves but two individual errors constitutes a dreadful game for a keeper. Gazzaniga had a good game for us in that one. He made a great save from a Santon header.
Who is Belgian's national keeper - him or Courtois? My vote would go somewhere between Howard or Krul - I'll decide by the time a poll is up.
Well as a matter of fact he is at the moment anyway, but may I refer you to the full voting thread complete with poll.
