Tim Howard for me as well, played a blinder at St Mary's, I still have no idea how Everton kept a clean sheet that night.

So the serious candidates are Begovic, Al-Habsi and Howard then?

On a side note, Joe Hart for worst keeper (specifically against us)? Very poor performance at St Marys, arguably to blame for two of their goals and he also let in two at the Etihad.

    Oh, and Mignolet and Foster.

Are we going to do a poll?

Mignolet over the two games. Save of the season probably Robert Green to deny Yoshida at St Mary's.
    1. Mignolet
    2. Foster

Al-Habsi is far too prone to errors for this level. They were miles better after they dropped him for Joel, just look at their results.

To be fair, he had next to no chance with either of them.

How about Mignolet, Sunderland away? He had an impeccable game, not a mistake in sight and quite a few great saves. He ended up in Sky's team of the week that time.

Good shout, he was a clear MOM for me in that game in regards to Mignolet.

Yep he was unbelievable in that game and he kept a clean sheet at St Mary's. Howard made an error at Goodison Park which ruled him out completely for me despite the solid game at St Mary's (Ramirez scored a header from a corner well inside the 6 yard box).

Good shouts, both of them. Mignolet sticks in the mind, but I'm going for Ben Foster too.

Not a great deal of Jedi Force required there. At the time I could have sworn you volunteered Mikey, but looking back through the thread, I was completely making it up. ;)

I think you knew the whole time, oldest trick (Jedi or other) in the book! "Are you going down the shop then dear?" "No, why?" "Oh, I thought you said earlier you were going because we needed milk" "I didn't but I'll go in a minute." :p

I did learn the trick of getting a cup of tea out of a customer. If one doesn't get offered quickly enough, I occasionally put my head around the corner and say... Oh thanks, that would be lovely. Strong, with a dash of milk and no sugar. To which the perplexed customer says... Oh, would you like a cup of tea then? And so it goes... Usually though they come so thick and fast one ends up refusing. Sometimes it's sandwiches too..!

For the sake of variation I'll stick in Guzan. Let in 5 goals but was still one of Villa's best players both home and away.
