Other results went our way yesterday
So a chink of light there could just be,
If we go and do what we have to today
At our vital midday jamboree

Forget pretty football, pleasing to the eye
That´s not what today´s all about,
Full-blooded tackles and ready to die
Will count and carry much more clout

Who wants it most at the end of the day
Will decide if yellow or blue,
Emerge victorious out of the fray
If either one or other do

A draw, to me, seems a likely outcome
As skirmishes like this, are wont
To end, as neither side want to be outdone
And no-one will then take affront

The first one of these back in August last year
Ended as a solid stalemate,
Our form was better then, but now I fear
Town may well step up to the plate

And if we don´t match them toenail to toe
There´s no telling, here on our patch,
Just how this local encounter will go
Or if a big three points we´ll hatch. OTBC

Great post as usual sir, the result of a derby is far more important than a football match, defeat to our old farm enemy is quite possibly life-threatening.

Come on you yellows, emphasize the fact that Norwich City are, without any doubt, the "pride of East Anglia!"
