If lambert goes to villa it will obviously add some spice to the occasion, I think Norwich have every attribute to finish higher than villa next year and we should put a lot of effort into trying to double them.

Call me vindictive, but id love it if we beat them.

I'd like the polite acknowledgment of what he achieved at Norwich to be recognised at the start of match at CR. but quickly followed by loud choruses of you ****ed up when we go 1-0 2-0 and 3-0 up. A kind of thanks very much but now **** off.

i hold no grudge against villa nor lambert. i want to beat every team we play as much as the other. that's not to say it wouldn't be sweet to beat a lambert team, but i don't quite get the vitriol towards villa - its no different to colchester holding a grudge against us. if we take hughton, will the birmingham fans hold a grudge against us? its football - people move on and so should we <ok>

I definitely enjoy beating some teams more than other for all kinds of irrational and emotive reasons, I thought that's what drove the passion in football. I enjoyed the doubles over swansea and QPR but definitely enjoyed beating QPR at that moment in time, more

Purely because it's early days and it still "hurts" I suspect but I would really love the banter if that happens....

I'd hardly call anything I've read on here about Villa "vitriol" to be honest mate, and I can't believe any Canary fan wouldn't now be targeting the two games against them next season as the two that would be the most satisfying to win. Obviously I fully expect us to try to win every game and treat each one like a cup final, but come on, how nice would it feel to do a job on Lambert's Villa?

Just like Kevin Keegan all those years ago - I'd LOVE it!

<ok>

maybe i'm going more off the views of some fans on twitter rather than these boards. some fans are acting like complete dicks <doh>

as i said above, it would be very sweet to beat any team managed by lambert but i'm not going to be building the games against them up to be something huge. they will be two games we have an excellent chance of taking points from though. they are a poor side and i doubt lambert will turn them around with a click of his fingers

well we won't have long to wait before we play them. I can almost guarantee the random fixture generator will decide that Villa will be one of, if not the first, home game we play next season

I can imagine it now. Norwich are leading Villa by 9 points in the table. 2 - 0 up at home against them too.

"You should have stayed at a massive club" a la Newcastle fans to Jose Enrique.

I would call it karma, after all...they won the playoff final leaving us in the championship.
