<peacedove> Our little magician, we know it has not been easy over the last two months, in life we do not always get
what we want. You are not the only one feeling it .Liverpool wanted to buy Naby Keita his club would not let him come to Liverpool at least now.Alexis Sanchez wanted to leave Arsenal but Arsenal cannot afford to sell
him. Liverpool would like to buy Vigil van Dijk, Southampton are not going to allow him to come.
We know it is your wish to play for Barcelona, but it is not convenient for Liverpool to let you go because
of very obvious reasons, which I believe your good self understand.
Over the years, you have built a very good bond with Liverpool supporters and they still appreciate you.
No one will complain next summer if you are leaving because the club are going to be prepared for it.
If you are still with us and committed as you do always we still appreciate you.
    Hope you understand !.
    Cheers.

    My version:

Oi you little **** - listen up, and listen up carefully!

You tried to mug us off but you didn't get your way. Deal with it.

Like it or not you're here for another year or when we wish to sell you.

We told you that you were not for sale and that remains the case.

You've signed a contract and are being paid to perform - we're not interested in your personal ambition over that of the club and we certainly don't give a damn about Barcelona's.

Moving forward you will have to prove that you're up for contributing to the team or you'll sit in the reserves.

The team has been performing well whilst you went awol so you will have to earn your place back in the team.

You are expected back in training this Monday 4th September 2017.

Its up to you now to prove you're worth.

    Yours sincerely,

    LFC.

there will be no open letter cos this has already been discussed before he ever went to brazil. The player and club have agreed when he is going imo. I reckon barca know the score as well and are willing to wait.

You're right. I am in an elder state. And I've seen too much to be taken in by prima-donnas.

    I don't think he'll move either.

    My thoughts then.

He wanted to move to Barca as much as I would play for Liverpool over Barca that's not the case for everyone and certainly not the case for every footballer.
The way he's gone about it has been terrible but he's been advised to do that, could he have stood strong like Keita for example ho stated he didn't want to cause damage to himself and the club and has kept his composure and got his move?

Yes Coutinho could have dealt with this in a different way but I don't blame him for doing all he can in order to move, it's not like I was calling VVD a disgrace for trying to move to us in the manner he chose.

I hope Coutinho is fit and on the bench vs City, when he comes on I'll forgive everything if he works hard and gives his all, I'm looking forward to a big season with him pulling the strings and if he goes next season I'll hopefully be wishing him well after he's brought us a pot.

When does Coutinho return from international duty? We need the little prick and Klopp to kiss and make up - then Klopp can **** him off next season.

The little bitch better give us a year of top quality.

When he gets back he'll open his locker, there'll be a Barca shirt in there, he'll turn around and all the lads who put it there will razz him about it then that'll be that. I guarantee that's what'll happen

probably... maybe a bit of light towel whipping or a bit of deep heat in the jocks....

they are all secretly thinking... yeah i'd have done the same there.... professionals don't care about this stuff.

I'm sure he was advised to use the dirty tricks to get his move, but he has given tacit approval to this so he is equally responsible.
He can't go saying "wasn't me, some big boys done it", so he has to accept any stick that comes his way over it.
If he does well on the pitch, then I'll support him on the pitch - the same thing goes with any of our players - but I'm really pissed off with the way he has gone about this.
Has he got what it takes to just knuckle down and get on with it? We'll see. I don't think he has the cast-iron constitution that Suarez showed, but perhaps a few goal celebrations will wipe away the tears.
