Don't make excuses Taffy, you have no reason to have given me the "yellow card". Which is why I called you what I did, as if I am going to be given a warning, then i may as well deserve it. Like I told you in the other thread, which you politely told me to go do one, was that Swansea fans will be treated differently to Cardiff fans by you, and you have proved me right. Im not interested in who gets banned first, but I am interested in mods who don't have a clue how to moderate fairly. And you are a perfect example.
To be fair mate I think if you retract the words over zealous and bellend it might help a bit. You can't really visit anyone's board and call a mod names.
And to make it clear, if you have given a reason for the warning at the the time the warning was given, we wouldn't be in this mess. But over zealous mods will always be prone to cock ups.

No argument from swanselona about never putting any positive football input into this board though. Taff for what it's worth you were spot on IMO, he deserved a ban for **** stirring before the insult.
Dilli I think we can judge the jokes as they appear, obviously they need to be funny. If someone is offended then they can let the mods know and we can always delete. If it is overtly offensive then their may well be a warning.
Post 42 from pont told you to go and read the rules and sparky mentioned it again after that. So if you'd actually read the thread rather than just taken what you wanted from it then you'd have known about the clean slate approach.

You've already got your thread congratulating him on the ban. This thread should have been closed ages ago imo so I take on board his comment about 'the thread is still running' but are you telling me someone can seriously have a go at us for the tit for tat attitude whilst listing about 50 one line comments out of context! If anyone else cared that much they could um.... just read the thread. It was aimed at attacking our fans and one or two in particular. We tried the open approach it was fine when you lot didn't care, now you do and it's chaos. We haven't changed but the board has. His over riding idea that we shouldn't be so hostile when all 3 or 4 of you do is wum is worthy of a ban for stupidity/naivity. How long would someone from this board last over at yours without insult or ban if all we did was comment about Admin, begging buckets, getting knocked out of Europe early (not possibly as a statement of FACT) etc. on every thread regardless of topic and despite the reasonable counter arguments that were made when this wumming campaign started. How much of this hostility is Dilli seeing right now? He's not being an absolute prick and contributing to threads in a positive way so the we're happy for him to be here.
Just for clarification, we can't call Taff an "overzealous bell end" then? Just to check, would "excessively enthusiastic village in Worcestershire" be OK?
For the record, I've had a couple of PM's with Swanselona this morning. I take back my accusations of **** stirring, I think he did just feel very strongly about it and flew off the handle with the warning and things escalated. Doesn't change the fact he is now correctly banned for insulting Taff but I now think I got the wrong end of the stick in the first place and it's only right having slated him on here that I say this for whatever it's worth!
I'll take that, not being a total prick I think he was wrong to say what he did about Taff and I'm sure that Swanselona will apologise I think it was a case of temporary red mist. Taff, all things considered I'll keep that joke to myself for the time being seeing as things are a bit strained at the moment and we all have to move on from there. I'll PM it to you and you can decide if you want to put it up. Just trying to lighten the mood.
